Ekaterina Vishnevskaya was born in Balashikha in 1984.
She is a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of Photography and Video Art.

In 2006, she graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Instrument Engineering and Computer Science with a degree in Low Temperature Physics and Engineering. After graduating from the institute, she worked for 15 years in her specialty.

Since 2023 - member of the Balashikha photo club "Positive",

since 2024 - administrator of the photo community in the VK "Objective Perspective",

since 2025 - candidate of the Moscow photo club "Innovator",

one of the organizers and author of the idea of Creative meetings of photographers held in Borovsk in June 2025, 
and the 3rd Creative a meeting of photographers held in April 2026 in Tarusa with the participation of nine photo clubs from Kaluga, Serpukhov and Balashikha, Moscow, Kolomna, Ryazan, Tula, Mariupol and Voronezh.

In 2024, she participated in group photo exhibitions at the BIHM (Balashikha Museum of History and Art),

participated in the exhibition of the Krasnodar branch of the Union of Photographic Artists of Russia "city N".

In 2025, she will participate in the 16th Hop Pillars Photo Festival,

finalist of the 20th annual I.Ya. Velikanov Photo Contest (Maloyaroslavets),

winner in 2 nominations (landscape and free theme) of the XVI open Urban Photo Contest. Nikolay Safonov (Pushchino),

participant of the online exhibition "Without frames-2025" of the Moscow branch of the Union of Photographic Artists of Russia in cooperation with the FOTOSREDA project.

Finalist of the online exhibition "WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHERS OF RUSSIA" of the Krasnodar branch of the Union of Photographic Artists of Russia.

Ekaterina's works are represented in private collections.
